Cookie Policy
How our website uses cookies, and how to manage them
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They help the site work properly, remember your preferences, and let us understand how the site is being used.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Notice, which explains more generally how we look after your personal data.

The table below sets out the cookies currently used on our website.

Note: our website also uses Plausible Analytics (a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool) for supplementary reporting. Plausible does not set any cookies or use persistent identifiers, so it is not listed in the table above and does not require consent under PECR.
3. Categories of cookies
Cookies on our site fall into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the website to function (for example, remembering your cookie consent choices). These can't be switched off.
- Functional — remember choices you've made to improve your experience, such as chat widget sessions or form progress.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are most popular, so we can improve it.
- Advertising / marketing — used to measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and, where in use, to show relevant content on other platforms.
4. Your consent
When you first visit our website, you'll see a cookie banner. You can accept all cookies, or choose which categories to allow, other than strictly necessary cookies, which are always active.
We won't set any analytics, functional, or advertising cookies until you've given your consent, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and current ICO guidance.
You can change your preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the website footer, or .
5. Managing cookies through your browser
As well as our cookie banner, most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can usually set your browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when a cookie is being set. Bear in mind that blocking all cookies may affect how parts of our website work.
Guidance for common browsers:
- Google Chrome — Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Safari — Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Microsoft Edge — Settings > Cookies and site permissions
- Firefox — Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
6. Third-party cookies
Some cookies on our site are set by third parties whose services we use — for example Google Analytics and HubSpot. We don't control these cookies directly; they're governed by the relevant third party's own privacy and cookie policies, which we'd recommend checking for more detail.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new tool on our website. The latest version will always be available on our website at rdaaccountants.co.uk/cookie-policy. This policy was last updated in August 2026.
